Kelly N. Chuh

Kelly is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship recipient in Chemistry. In the lab of Matthew Pratt, Kelly’s research has been focused on the development and optimization of chemical biology tools to further the study of the posttranslational modification of the protein, O-GlcNAc. During her tenure at USC, Kelly has published a total of seven papers. In addition to her rigorous academic research, Kelly has mentored younger female students in an under-represented field. One of her undergraduate students will be pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at UC Irvine in fall 2017. Kelly is currently undergoing interviews for postdoctoral research positions and recently received an offer from Professor Tom Muir at Princeton University.
