Career path challenges for the humanities and social sciences was the focus of a meeting of scholars from Germany and North America convened by Russell Berman of Stanford University, Julika Griem and Johannes Völz of the University of Frankfurt and DFG President Peter Strohschneider.
The Association of Graduate Schools is a constituent group of the Association of American Universities (AAU). In 1969, USC was invited to join the AAU, an organization that is comprised of member public and private research institutions in the United States and Canada.
USC Graduate School is a member of the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) which serves as an advocacy group for graduate education and a national platform from which institutions can examine graduate education issues and share best practices.
