is a Dean’s Fellow in the Urban Education Policy program at the Rossier School of Education and research analyst for the Pullias Center for Higher Education. Prior to his studies at USC, Antar taught high school English in Washington, DC public schools. His research focuses on increasing college access, Black students’ experiences at Predominantly White Institutions, and digital equity. His recently published work includes a case study of the challenges Black students face with regard to college costs and financial aid, as well as a critical review of the use of digital media by Black youth.
