is in the chemical engineering program in Viterbi School of Engineering. Her work is focused on developing novel biomaterials to treat ocular trauma. She is the co-founder and Chief Science Officer of AesculaTech, a biomedical startup creating a new, more patient-friendly drug delivery system. In 2016, Niki was awarded a $50,000 National Science Foundation Innovation Corps grant. She has also received one of the Graduate School’s Research Enhancement Fellowships and awards from Phi Kappa Phi. Niki has a masters from USC and a bachelor’s degree from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran.
